Lisa Conway serves as the Vice President of Global Sustainability for Interface Inc., a global modular flooring company, pioneer in sustainability since 1994, and TIME magazine’s Most Influential Companies.
Lisa and her team are responsible for the global activation of the company’s mission to reverse global warming: Climate Take Back.
Lisa is passionate about bringing awareness to the interconnectedness of environmental sustainability and human health. To drive an understanding of the impact of carbon on human health, Lisa and her team provide educational programming around the need for transparency and prioritization of embodied carbon in specifications within the building industry.
She led the Interface co-founding of the Materials Carbon Action Network (materialsCAN) in 2018, an effort designed to mobilize all built environment stakeholders. The Beyond Zero documentary is based on Interface’s journey toward zero negative impact on the environment.
