COO GoFundMe and President Classy

Soraya Alexander is the Chief Operating Officer at GoFundMe and President of Classy, a social enterprise that creates world-class online fundraising software for nonprofits. She was named to her joint role across GoFundMe and Classy following the acquisition in May 2022. Now overseeing the largest giving landscape, she plays a vital role growing both GoFundMe and Classy to help people and nonprofits share their stories, connect with supporters, and reach new donors.

Previously, Soraya was COO of Classy following various leadership roles helping nonprofit customers raise billions of dollars for good. Earlier in her career, she oversaw marketing strategy for organizations including Dick’s Sporting Goods and Time, Inc. She’s passionate about expanding historically marginalized groups’ role in business and champions child advocacy, childhood, environmental and humanitarian needs.
